Over the last twenty years, COMEBACK KID has been hailed as one of the key forces in shaping and pioneering both the Canadian and international modern punk and hardcore scenes.
Formed in Winnipeg, the band released their 2002 demo followed by the acclaimed Turn It Around in 2003. Over the years, the five-piece has successfully balanced a DIY ethos and dependability with a humanitarian mindset and genre-defining musicianship, breaking down the boundaries of hardcore and bringing the genre to a global stage.
Breaking into the mainstream with their 2005 career-defining record, Wake The Dead, COMEBACK KID has stood strong in the face of adversity and change ever since. They have solidified their place as a formidable force, influencing both the present and future of what was once an underground genre.
Now, with their seventh record, HEAVY STEPS, on the horizon, the band continues to define what it means to be an integral and volatile leader in a now globally recognized and distinguished genre.
