Head Automatica

Head Automatica debuted in 2004, the brainchild of Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw) and Dan the Automator (Gorillaz, Handsome Boy Modeling School). The outfit allowed Daryl, punk-rooted frontman to explore his affinity for new wave, garage, and synth heavy electronics. The band had toured extensively and released two albums by 2012 when they entered indefinite hiatus.
Last year, the band began writing and playing select solo and festival dates. In 2024 they'll be releasing their long anticipated junior album.
This more matured version of HA retains their electronic roots while showcasing a n e w depth. Version 3 of the band includes original guitarist (and co-writer of their hit "Beating Heart Baby") Craig Bonich, Glassjaw drummer Chad Hasty, Eric Mitchell on Electronics, and longtime collaborator with Daryl, Richard Flesh.
